by Michael Bordash
Thursday, June 11 2009
In 2001, Felix Da Housecat dropped "Kittenz and Thee Glitz" on the world and electronic music has never been quite the same since. Felix, along with Peaches, Fischerspooner and others pooled into the burgeoning Electro-Rock genre. On August 25, 2009 Felix will unleash a new pop vision infused with electronic glitz "He Was King".
Notes Felix about the album, "This is my electronic pop record. Whereas Kittenz & The Glitz was straight up electro, He Was King is straight Felix Da Housecat pop with a nice electronic feel."
Notable singles include "ELVI$", "We All Wanna Be Prince" and "Spank You Very Much". Music videos include "Kick Drum" and "We All Want to be Prince" which will be out in July.
